Prayers of Repentance

Heavenly Father.

I plead with you on behalf of my sinful nation for your mercy.  According to your mercys that endure forever, I beg you to send a fresh breeze of your Holy Spirit upon your people that inhabit this land that we call the USA.

Please grant us repentance to life.

Our hands are full of the blood of innocents and we have perverted your Holy ways.  We have disregarded your law.  We have erred by failing to submit to you and resist the devil.  We have become friends of the world and thereby become your enemy.

We know it is because of your mercy that we are not consumed, because your compassions do not fail.

Please, Heaveny Father, visit us with your presence and try us to show us the wicked ways are are in us.  Please speak to hearts of the leaders our our assemblies and communities of worship and revel to them their need to repent and to stand in the gap on behalf of your people. 

We acknowledge that praying to you should be primary, but we have habitually sought the arm of flesh for our deliverance instead of calling upon You.  Forgive us.  

Hear us.  Retore us.  Glorify yourself through us as individuals and a nation again.  We are undone.

We plead with You to revive us for Your own Holy Name's sake.
